This website is operated by Medcentre Podiatry Pty Ltd (ABN 79 604 620 117), trading as Burwood Podiatry and Lower Limb Rehab (“we”, “us”, “our”), of 16 Railway Parade (Rear Building, Level 1 – Suite 102), Burwood NSW 2134. By using this website or booking an appointment with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Use of this website
This site describes our clinic and services. Condition and treatment information is general, not clinical advice or a substitute for individual assessment. We take care with accuracy but do not warrant completeness, currency or accuracy. Subject to section 2, reliance is at your risk. Book an assessment for personal health concerns.
2. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies rights, remedies or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Services must be provided with due care and skill. Liability limits apply only as legally permitted and subject to these rights.
3. Bookings and appointments
Request appointments online or by phone, subject to availability and confirmation. We collect information needed for safe care and appointment contact.
4. Cancellations, changes and missed appointments
Give at least 24 hours’ notice to change or cancel, so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
To hold your appointment, we may ask for card details or a deposit at the time of booking, particularly for longer appointments. If you give us less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend, a cancellation fee may apply, up to the value of the booked consultation. This fee reflects the cost of the reserved time we were unable to offer to another patient. Any deposit you have paid is applied toward your care. This section operates subject to section 2.
No cancellation fee applies for illness or genuine unavoidable circumstances; please let us know.
Different rules may apply where your care is funded through NDIS, DVA, a SIRA/workers-compensation insurer or an aged-care program; we will tell you if a different cancellation arrangement applies to your funding pathway.
5. Fees and payment
This is not a bulk-billed service. You pay the full consultation fee at your visit. Where a Medicare rebate applies, we process the eligible claim at the visit and Medicare returns the rebate to you separately. We also process private health fund (via HICAPS), DVA, NDIS, SIRA/workers-compensation and aged-care claims as they apply to your funding pathway. Current fees are set out on our Fees page; fees may change, so please confirm when you book. Any additional treatment is always discussed and agreed with you first.
6. Clinical care and outcomes
We provide foot and lower-limb care. Outcomes vary; no result is guaranteed. We explain options, expected benefits, limitations and risks before you decide. A practitioner–patient relationship begins with assessment and care, not website use.
7. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 2 and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including where the site is unavailable or contains an error. Where our liability for a non-clinical service (such as this website) cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied. This re-supply limit does not apply to the clinical care we provide: nothing in these terms limits your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to that care, including the guarantee that it will be provided with due care and skill.
8. Third-party links
External links are provided for convenience, not endorsement. We do not control or accept responsibility for their content, privacy or security. Access is at your risk.
9. Acceptable use
Use this site lawfully. Do not interfere with security or operation, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or scrape data. We may restrict access for misuse.
10. Intellectual property
We or our licensors own site text, images, graphics and design unless stated otherwise. Personal, non-commercial viewing and printing is allowed; other use or republication requires written permission. Third-party names and trade marks belong to their owners.
11. Availability of the website
Uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. We may update, suspend or withdraw the site without notice.
12. Suspension of access
We may suspend or end your access to the website if you breach these terms or use the site in a way that is unlawful or that could harm the site, us, or other users.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and explains collection, use, protection and disclosure of personal and health information.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this website.

We may update these terms. The dated current version is available on this page.
